HAZARDOUS WASTE DROP
Mohave County residents will have an opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste for free.
Mohave County, the Kingman Fire Department, the Kingman Clean City Commission and the Bullhead City Fire Department are sponsoring the two collections in Kingman and Bullhead City.
The collections will give residents the opportunity to conveniently and properly dispose of household hazardous waste, thereby minimizing potential impacts to the local environment and groundwater caused by improper disposal.
The first collection will be held at the Mohave County Fairgrounds located at 2600 Fairgrounds Blvd. in Kingman.
● 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
● Saturday the 26th of April
The second collection will be held at the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division located at 1325 Alonas Way in Bullhead City.
● 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
● Sunday the 4th of May
A full range of Hazardous Waste - with the exception of explosives - will be collected. Items accepted range from used oil to pesticides.
Tires and commercial waste will not be accepted.
The collections may be canceled without notice if hazardous weather occurs that is a threat to the safety and general welfare of the public, participants or staff.
